Dubrovnik is a stunning walled city on the southern Dalmatian coast of Croatia, overlooking the azure waters of the Adriatic Sea at the tip of a narrow peninsula. The Dubrovnik Summer Festival, held annually from July to August, transforms the old town's squares, terraces, and fortress walls into spectacular open-air stages for theater, music, and dance.

Dubrovnik is served by an international airport with direct flights from across Europe and beyond. Ferry services connect the city to Split, Hvar, and other Dalmatian destinations, as well as to Bari in Italy. Cable cars ascend to Mount Srd above the city, offering panoramic views that reveal the full extraordinary beauty of the walled city and the surrounding sea and islands.
