Tseung Kwan O, also known as TKO, is a new town located in the Sai Kung District on the eastern side of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong. Built on reclaimed land in what was historically a shallow bay, the town was developed as part of Hong Kong's new towns program beginning in the 1980s to ease population pressure in the older urban areas. Today it stands as one of Hong Kong's most modern and well-planned residential communities.

Transportation is among TKO's greatest strengths. The MTR Tseung Kwan O Line connects the town directly to Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, making commuting straightforward. Bus services complement the rail network, and the road connections via Route 6 and the highway tunnels provide vehicular access to the rest of the territory.

Several primary and secondary schools serve the town's large family population, and the proximity to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Clear Water Bay adds academic prestige to the broader area.
